I just got a free subscription to dA for a week...I'm kind of liking it. Look AR, it does go faster. oO I'm in shock. Maybe I'll pay for one, even though I'm not here often enough to get my money's worth. But that'll be later, around the end of the month.

Ok, I read this really horrific fanfic last night. Seriously bad. It made me want to gouge my eyes out with a fork. It was a Link/Aryll pairing. Please don't go into incest with me; I don't want to discuss it. Anyway, it wasn't the incest that bothered me. It was the writing itself. Her fic had no format to it; it was all one giant paragraph. If you just scanned it over, it would look like a big run-on sentence. You would have cried. But that wasn't the worst part.

She referred to Link's dick as a "six-incher".

...I kid you not.

She also made Link seem like a pedophile, because throughout the entire fic, he kept going "I can't wait to take advantage of her innocence" and "now I can take advantage of her like this all the time." When Aryll started to protest Link's fondling, Link said "Do you love me?" Of course the girl says yes. Then Link goes "Well, this is how we show it." That is a line straight out of Pedophilia for Dummies. I swear it is.

Then, when Aryll told Link that she seriously didn't want to have sex with him, he covered her mouth and raped her. After he was done, he asked Aryll "Wasn't that fun?"

As if that wasn't just groteque enough, Aryll *agreed* it was in fact fun. Quote: "After a little while, it felt kind of good." :End of Quote.

I have a problem with people who put their fantasies online, especially if you're a fangirl. But what I really HATE, and anyone will tell you this, is when you display your fantasies quite poorly. And this was poor. It read like a manual on how to recognize incest, rape and pedophilia when it happens. Except it wasn't as neat and clean cut. It used words like "voluptuous" to describe Aryll's breasts, and used the phrase "blew his load inside of her" to describe Link's orgasm. Blew his load? That sounds like he was on the toilet, and he had too many bean burritos for dinner.

Trust me, there are more atrocities within this fic, but I think we've all been through enough for one day. This just goes to show that just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you should. This is precisely why I'm anti-fangirl. There are no words for this horror. ~ ~ I should make a sibling for Back Off and call it Fuck Off. And it would be a clique for people who are tired of seeing Link abused in fanfiction. Or how about I have a hatelisting to fangirls?

Oh hohohoho Lady. You read my mind.
